So spring is finally here and I just can’t help but feel so happy inside! Why? Well, aside from spring cleaning (yep, I love doing that stuff!) and, of course, the overall cheery mood of the season, the change of wardrobe excites me to no end. After that long cold dreary winter. we can finally replace those bulky clothes with something much lighter. Now, I’m sure that most of you reading this have already stowed away their heavy winter stuff; but do you have all the spring fashion essentials to replace them with?
In this day and age of jeans, shorts, and mini skirts, long dresses and skirts are somehow becoming a thing of the past. Did you notice that too? If you just look at what most are wearing today, it’s become a competition of who wore it shorter or tighter. Yes, there are still some who wear maxi dresses and skirts but that just about sums it up. That’s why in this world of short and tight dresses and skirts, I’ve decided to go against the flow—why not go with longer dresses and skirts?
Whenever we hear the words “high fashion”, the first thing that comes to mind are those expensive, fashionable clothes worn by models in fashion shows. Others call it high fashion while others “in the know” call it in its somewhat snobbish name: haute couture.
Question: Why do powerful women such as First Lady Michelle Obama and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg always look so fashionable?
