Of course we all know that women love shoes… er, correction: are obsessed with shoes. How can we even resist those sexy stilettos and timeless pumps and those chic strappy sandals and cute ballet flats, right, ladies? With all these irresistible shoes, you’d think that these styles are enough, right? At first I thought, together with the comfy sneakers and the ever trusty wedges, I’d be contented with these styles. Well, I’ve been wrong before and I’m certainly wrong again this time because, well, mules came along.
We all certainly love those killer stilettos. And why not, high heels have long been a symbol of sophistication. Honestly, if I can, I would rock them everywhere and everyday. But the thing is, I can’t. You see, killer stilettos may be glam, but they’re also a killer when it comes to our health. How? Well, wearing high heels too much can cause a simple damaged toe nails to a much serious muscle pain and spasms. Even if you’re not feeling anything yet, you could easily develop bone deformities and other problems such as bunions and osteoarthritis. Scary, right? That’s why many women (including myself) bring an extra shoe to work as a backup in case our feet hurt. And that “backup shoe” is usually the simple but very comfy flats.
From a failed engagement to a failed proposal within a year? Zayn Malik looks like he’s going on a roll! After less than a year of being together, reports have been going around lately that former One Direction hunk, Zayn Malik actually went down on his knees to ask for Victoria’s Secret Angel Gigi Hadid’s hand in marriage. Other girls would’ve surely say YES in split second. But reports say that Gigi actually said NO, saying that it’s “too fast” for her! OUCH!
Many people always think that when you’re a fashionista, the only shoes you adore are those “girlie” shoes. Yes, of course, I love stilettos, strappy sandals, ballet flats, and whatnot; but most of the time, I love sporting sneakers too. In fact, I’m what many would call a “sneakerhead” or someone who just loves sneakers. And why not? They’re uber comfy, they look great, and you can practically wear them anywhere with pretty much anything in your closet.
