Now that it’s summer, one of the most go-to tops out there are our trusty t-shirts. Yes, they may not be the most chic option. But with sizzling temps during summers, one just can’t help but go with these “lazy” articles of clothing. I, myself, actually don’t mind wearing tees as much as I can during the hottest season of the year. In fact, I believe tees are so comfy, they deserve to be worn whenever and wherever you like, regardless of the occasion. Of course, I’m not talking about wearing your basic tees in a gala. Say, if you have a dinner date, or if you’re spending the day out with your friends, t-shirts, I think, can be chic enough—that is if you have the right t-shirt designs and the right pieces to go with them.
Okay, I know it’s too early to be writing about it but what can I say, I just can’t wait! Yup, in just a month or so, it’s time to party at Coachella once again! Set on April 14 to 23 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA, the music festival will feature Bon Iver, The XX, Travis Scott, Steve Angelo, Glass Animals, Empire of the Sun, Future, DJ Snake, Lorde, Justice, and a whole lot more. But who’s going to headline this week-long music and arts festival this year? Ever heard of Radiohead? How about Kendrick Lamar? Still not impressed? And oh, I forgot to mention, Beyonce (yup, the queen herself!) will perform in her own friggin’ set as well! So yeah, did I mention it’s gonna be amazing?
Have you watched the 89th Academy Awards night? Man oh man, it’s like Miss Universe all over again! Lol! I’ve never seen such a blunder in the awards show’s recent history. Let me just say that Oscars 2017, all in all, was a blast; but what a better way to make things more interesting (and controversial) at the very end of the show by announcing the wrong movie for the Best Picture award! If you haven’t seen it, what happened was “La La Land” was announced as the winner; but halfway through their speech there was some commotion and it was announced that “Moonlight” actually won the award. Cut the long story short, the cast and crew of La La Land ended up handing their gold statuettes to the Moonlight folks—to the gasps of a shocked crowd.
By now, you must have already heard about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s (affectionately known as Brangelina) break up. What with all the media (both in traditional and social) coverage it’s been getting all over the world, it’s really not that hard to miss the news. So yeah, even though there are more than 800,000 couples getting divorced in America each year, the Pitt/Jolie split’s definitely in the spotlight. Aside from them being celebrities, why do this split up seem to affect many people?
