Now that it’s summer, one of the most go-to tops out there are our trusty t-shirts. Yes, they may not be the most chic option. But with sizzling temps during summers, one just can’t help but go with these “lazy” articles of clothing. I, myself, actually don’t mind wearing tees as much as I can during the hottest season of the year. In fact, I believe tees are so comfy, they deserve to be worn whenever and wherever you like, regardless of the occasion. Of course, I’m not talking about wearing your basic tees in a gala. Say, if you have a dinner date, or if you’re spending the day out with your friends, t-shirts, I think, can be chic enough—that is if you have the right t-shirt designs and the right pieces to go with them.
Okay, summer is just about to start and I’m sure you’re all excited as I am. Plus, I’m pretty sure you’ve already sorted out all your summer vacay essentials—from the resort reservations to the swimsuit you’re going to be wearing. If you’re done with all these, I guess you’re all set. Unless of course, you forgot to pack your summer beauty essentials. You know, those stuff that’ll not only make you look like a ocean goddess by the beach, but will also protect you from the harsh summer sun? If you haven’t prepared those yet, here’s a list of all the non-negotiables every girl should have in their bags:
So Met Gala 2017 happened last Monday night and let me just say what a treat it was! I’m sure many fashionistas across the globe feel the same way too. Why? With all the A-list celebrities—you know, as in everyone who is anyone—attending the event, the more appropriate question, I think, should be: Why the hell not? Aside from the star power, I personally look forward to the event because of their themes. Marking the grand opening of the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit, we expect celebrities to look their most daring, most original, and most elegant in the gala. You see, when it comes to the world of fashion, it’s definitely one of the most anticipated get-together every year. In other words, let’s just say that the Met Gala is the Super Bowl of fashion.
Like I said in my previous blog, I just can’t wait for summer to arrive. And as we feel the temperature starting to intensify, so does our need—nay, DESIRE to hit the beach wearing nothing but those skimpy bikinis. Well, I guess Sports Illustrated can’t wait any longer (low EQ much? Kidding! Lol!) as they’ve launched this year’s much-awaited swimsuit edition. And I must say oh boy, talk about hotness overload what with Kate Upton headlining the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017! Don’t believe me? Check these out!
