Met Gala 2017: Hottest Looks This Year

So Met Gala 2017 happened last Monday night and let me just say what a treat it was! I’m sure many fashionistas across the globe feel the same way too. Why? With all the A-list celebrities—you know, as in everyone who is anyone—attending the event, the more appropriate question, I think, should be: Why the hell not? Aside from the star power, I personally look forward to the event because of their themes. Marking the grand opening of the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit, we expect celebrities to look their most daring, most original, and most elegant in the gala. You see, when it comes to the world of fashion, it’s definitely one of the most anticipated get-together every year. In other words, let’s just say that the Met Gala is the Super Bowl of fashion.

And so now, with the Met Gala 2017—with the theme Comme des Garçons featuring the works of Rei Kawakubo—in the books, fashion aficionados are probably here on the net to get a quick peek on what went down in the big event’s red carpet. Check out who were there and what they wore:

Yup, this is how the annual fashion and art event rolls—stars, models, and young creatives in their most extravagant! Pretty cool, eh? And the best part of the Met Gala 2017 is the Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo’s “Art of the In-Between” theme, which allows designers and stars alike to go all out.

Now, when it comes to fashion, I always aim for something unique to wear. Like in the Met Gala 2017, I’m thinking of adding some “artsy” stuff to my wardrobe. Nope, not in a Comme des Garçons way but something more “public-friendly”. If you’re thinking of getting yourself uniquely stylish yet casual clothes, check out these sites:
