Let’s face it, we don’t always have the luxury of time when we prepare for work in the morning. What with all the things we have to do every morning, we just can’t get everything done the right way. Case in point? Applying makeup. Because of not having enough time for makeup, we settle for a few dabs of foundation, lipstick, eyeliners, eyebrows, and to finish it off, some blush-ons. Yes, I’ve seen so many women doing this and to tell you honestly, I’d rather go barefaced.
So in light of all these, I decided to write how we can go about in applying makeup as fast as we can. No, not just faster, but as properly as we can. So if you’re ready as I am, get your notepads and follow these simple instructions:
If You Only Have 20 Minutes to Spare
If you have twenty minutes in the morning for applying makeup, well, good for you. You actually have more than enough time than the most of us. For faster makeup application, you have to have a good base on your face. That’s why, you should always use a primer before applying your foundation. This will help conceal the blemishes on your face and it will provide a stable base for your makeup. The next step is to do the highlights and contours before putting on some blush. Then, tend to your eyebrows and put on some eyeshadow before curling your lashes and putting on some mascara. Last but not least, apply your favorite lipstick. Yes, all of these can be done in twenty minutes or so.
If You Only Have 10 Minutes to Spare
Some women don’t have the same luxury of time as the first one I’ve mentioned. Some can actually only spare (gasp!) ten minutes. Yes I know, right? Well. if you are a part of this unlucky bunch, don’t despair as I have a foolproof solution to your dilemma. If you only have ten minutes to spare, here’s what you should do: First thing that you should think of is conceal all the blemishes and the eyebags. You don’t actually have to use a foundation, just a good concealer would do. Next, go directly to your favorite powder to add some base on your face and then add some color with some blush. Then, brush your brows and then put on some mascara. Lastly, add on some lipstick, and voila, makeup done in ten minutes or less.
